OUR STORY

Garden Customs was founded in 2020 by friends Dan and Paul during the Covid19 global pandemic.

Dan was working from home on his kitchen table with a very active toddler bashing at his laptop and causing much disruption.

​

Paul is a Master Carpenter and has been constructing timber buildings for many years. Paul's experience has developed here in the UK and also in New Zealand where he learnt about some of the pioneering Southern Hemisphere timber frame techniques.

Dan and Paul set about building a garden room to allow home working away from the house and the inspiration for Garden Customs was born.

With Dan's extensive experience in the  property industry and Paul's expertise they set about answering the needs of many also crying out for home offices, home gyms, summer houses, and anything between!

The aim was simple, to quickly create extra space in the home without the requirement of planning permission and major building works.
